Yeah, and it was a picture on the internet but it's now taken down. But what do you think, is it possible that model Y will be made as a pickup truck because it was a rumor and I found the information in here http://goo.gl/DAsvpp but don't know whether it's true or not.  :o

What are the sound system options in the Model 3?  Is Tesla partnered up with any of the major audio manufacturers to offer premium sound and if so is it standard or cost extra?

I kinda like the new front grill on the Model S and hope they bring that over to the 3 series..  The blank front looks a bit scary...not exactly sure why...just looks like it's unfinished.

Been hearing some talk about a heads up display being in the Tesla 3 instead of the blank dashboard and the single 15 inch lcd panel.  Anyone hear the same?  How exactly would this work?  Holograms or reflections off the dashboard?  Does it work as well day and night?

I've heard that Tesla is working on another model being called the Model Y and that it's a smaller SUV or crossover vehicle built on the Tesla Model 3 platform.   Is there anymore info out there about this?  Any ideas on price or when they will announce it?

Feast your eyes on the hottest Tesla 3 color variant yet.  First shown during the 3's unveiling on stage on March 31, it was thought that the matte black color option would be more a show-piece than generally available color option.  Well apparently Elon Musk is hinting that it might be a production option after all as can be seen to his response to the following tweet. When it was suggested by Twitter user Jeffrey Kalmikoff that 90% of preorders would choose the matte black color option, Elon replied 'Matte black was surprisingly popular.  Probably makes sense to bring it to production'



Below are some more pics of the 'murdered out' Model 3 as it was photographed on southern california streets.  What do you think?  Is this your favorite color option or do you prefer the red or silver?

Perhaps the most controversial design element of the Model 3 is its blank grill-less front.  Elon Musk has reacted to some of the comments through his twitter account and mentioning that the design is not final and there still might be some changes or modifications to come.  Recently the Model S received its first facelift in 4 years and the front was changed to resemble to narrow Tesla adorned narrow grill of the Model X.  Would this same narrow grill and long hood look good on the Model 3?  Which do you prefer...grill or no grill?  Please vote and then let us hear your thoughts in the comments below.

According to Diarmuid O'Connell, Tesla VP of business development, pre-orders for the Tesla Model 3 are approaching 400,000 and "It delivers a message to the industry that there's incredible demand for great electric vehicles out there," O'Connell said at a conference on Monday.  The company had announced $14 billion in Model 3 orders when they hit 325,000 and at $1000 deposit per it would look like the company has $400,000,000 in cash to use to help produce these nearly 400,000 Model 3s. 

In other news there's been a lot of talk about the grill-less front end of the Model 3 and if the company will tweak it for the final design.  This past week the company updated the Model S to include a new Tesla emblem adorned front end that matches the Model X front.  We wouldn't be surprised if this same narrow grill with large Tesla emblem should appear in the final version of the Model 3 as well.  This might also entail modifying the hood a bit so that it extends straight down to the edge instead of the porsche-like rounded front that leaves a lip of hood before the end.  Here's a picture of the new Model S design as well as the current Model 3 front.  What do you think?  Would the Model 3 look better with a similar grill and hood to the new Model S?
