In the past week we've gotten a bit more information on just how Tesla Motors plans on fulfilling its ambitious goal of ramping up production to meet demand for it's Model 3 sedan.  First off the company has announced that a total of 373,000 pre-orders have been placed.   The company plans to boost the current production rate of 50,000 autos a year to an impressive 500,000 annually by 2018.  Raising funds to build out its production capability is a major part of that plan and the company has announced it will issue $1.4 billion in new Tesla shares to fund this expansion.  The company has also been making some new hires including Audi’s Peter Hochholdinger, who will join the company's vehicle production division and help streamline and improve production to meet the lofty targets.  Finally, if you haven't placed a deposit for a Model 3 yet and you're looking for a new job, one employer is offering new hires a Model 3 as part of their compensation for coming aboard.  North Carolina based Practichem, a maker of scientific instruments is trying to inspire and entice highly sought after technical workers to its company and thinks having a Model 3 as a perk of working there will inspire his employees to do similarly groundbreaking and inspirational work while at the company.  What do you think...should more employers offer Tesla Model 3's as incentive to join their companies?  Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
